We would like to wish you a very warm welcome to Leigh Central Primary School; we are delighted that you have shown an interest in our school. We know that choosing a school for your child can be daunting with so many options available, so we hope this page will give you an idea of what life is like at Leigh Central.

We hold an Open Day tours at school each year, usually around 20th November, in preparation for the following year's Reception intake. Details for these events are advertised on our website home page. There are options to attend during the afternoon and in the evening as we understand that some parents are working during the day.

Admissions

Leigh Central Primary School is a Local Authority Community school. We admit 30 children into our Reception class each September. 

 

Admissions are co-ordinated by the Wigan School Places Team. You can find more information about admissions on our school prospectus and under the Statutory tab on this website.
