Welcome to our School

 Dear Visitors,

On behalf of the children, staff and Governors may I warmly welcome you to Leigh Central Primary School.

As a school we believe in the value of each and every individual child who comes through our doors. We strive to ensure that everyone who becomes a member of our school community, adult or child, feels both valued and respected and knows the contribution that they make to life at Leigh Central.

As a school we believe that all children deserve the best and we strive to ensure that everyone achieves their full potential in all aspects of school life – academic, physical, personal and social, spiritual and moral. We do this by ensuring every child’s individual needs are met within a personalised curriculum which challenges, engages and highlights the next steps they need to take in order to continue to improve their skills and move forward.

We believe it is essential that there are strong partnerships between home and school. Children learn best when these links are in place and parents are always welcome in school. We look forward to building strong relationships with all our families and seeing our children develop and grow as they embark upon their life-long learning journey.

Hopefully this website will give you a taste of our school but please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like any further information.

Yours Sincerely,

Mrs Dawn Hurst

Headteacher

Over the next 2 days they will be working with children in Years 1 to 6 and although they cannot bring their special caravan this year I am sure the children will really enjoy the workshops they complete.
